Bankwest Stadium has won it!

Congratulations to Lendlease, Populous and Aurecon for this incredible structural design.
The result is nothing short of amazing with the massive trussed roof sections and enormous overhangs.

All at Shearform are delighted to be named as a key supplier to the BankWest Stadium, producing the giant feature scoreboard and media mesh for the billboards on time and on budget.
A project like this requires the cooperation of multiple fabricators to share the load and we congratulate our fellow Australian fabricators who also demonstrated their skills alongside ours.

Tanderrum Pedestrian Bridge

The Tanderrum Bridge, received the prestigious “American Architectural Award” for 2018 for Infrastructure Works, in New York City from the American Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, that our design and constructed 

The beautiful bridge, was nominated by our architects in America, NAADAA and judged against a short list of 340 number other infrastructure projects from 43 other nations.

We are immensely proud of this achievement and to be involved in this prestigious project.

The Tanderrum Pedestrian Bridge links Birrarung Marr with the Melbourne Park sports precinct creates a major arrival address for Melbourne Park. The key objectives of the pedestrian bridge included creating access for pedestrians traveling to Melbourne Park and improving universal access and providing a safe route that would eliminate the need for patrons to cross Batman Avenue at street level. As a result, the bridge serves as a major pedestrian entrance point during the Australian Open. A ramping pathway through Birrarung Marr leads to the bridge proper and its alignment respects the established bridges and landscape topography of the park.
